"Appalling Visit"

About: John Radcliffe Hospital / Accident and emergency

Attended A & E with son.

Arrived 10 am and left at 9 pm.

Amongst the issues observed were:

No communication between staff.

Patient promised someone would be back in 5 mins , didn't return for 45mins and even then still forgot what they were there for.

6 attempts at taking "urgent Bloods" which were forgotten about for 4 hours.

Nurse having an argument on mobile phone of a personal nature outside curtains .

Pain relief being promised but had to be chased by relative after an hour .
