"Fantastic Staff and Care"

About: Royal Primary Care

I've been with Royal Primary Care Chesterfield since a young child and I have always been treat with great care and respect by all members off staff including receptionists both at the Grange and over the phone.

I would love to thank everyone who has seen me over the years but with particular thanks to the member of staff who I have seen twice for blood tests. I find them frightening, I get very emotional and it takes me a lot of time to work up the courage to have them done.

She is always very respectful of how I feel, patient with me and makes the environment comfortable. I usually feel embarrassed and silly but she makes sure that I don't feel that way. It means a lot.

My GP saw me in Sep and was very thorough with me and knowledgeable. He set the ball rolling looking into issues that I've had for a while and is easy to talk to. I left feeling a lot more understanding of my symptoms.

One member of staff who I last saw in Sep was absolutely brilliant! I came to her with a small bundle of problems and she was particularly great listening to me and trying to help with a mental health issue. All whilst having a trainee with her.

But as I mentioned, all GPS and other staff I've seen have been consistently great. Long waiting times and difficulty booking appointments are more of a reflection on how much strain is on our health services because the people are fantastic. Thank you.
