I was left a pack next to my mum's bedside with details regarding the dementia team at Frimley Park. I was so pleased to have a contact to highlight my mum's difficulties. She is unable to understand the menu cards or operate the complicated bedside tv. The lady I spoke to could not wait to get me off the phone and told me that ward staff were not busy all the time and could help. This was not the response I was hoping for.
