"Exemplary care and treatment"

About: Royal Derby Hospital / Cardiology

In for an angioplasty and set of stents. Procedure went routinely until heart rate dropped to 35 as we emerged from the suite. Straight back in for insertion of external pacemaker. Kept overnight till things settled down. Completely comfortable throughout the procedure - didn't feel a thing. Care exemplary before and after from all staff. Now recovering well.

Dear Mr Thompson

It was very kind of you to take the time to write to the hospital; I am pleased to hear that you had a positive experience and that you wish to express your grateful thanks to the surgical team within the Cardiology Department.

I will forward your kind comments to the manager for Cardiology to share with all the team. Thank you again for taking the time to write into the hospital, it is appreciated and I hope you are continuing to make a full recovery.
