The carpark is an absolute disgrace. There are temporary bollards and building site fences all over the carpark and have been for over a year.
There are paper notices stuck on every pay machine saying it is broken in one way or another. (doesn't take cards or doesn't take notes) The payment for parking is inconsistent across the hospital (blue badge is free, pay and display is pay and display and another carpark you take a ticket on entry and pay at a machine before you leave,
Come on; settle on a system and implement it.
I have been subject to MRI scans,angioplasty, my wife has been subject to CT scans, ultra sound, 2 delicate colonoscopies, an endoscopy and major colonic surgery. Presumably the theatre surgeons do not have to put up with shoddy equipment (or do they?).
The carpark is the first experience any patient gets of the hospital and this first impression is deeply concerning. Technical stuff does not work.
I recommend that you invest heavily in some appropriate technology to get the car park sorted NOW as your reputation as a hospital is going down the pan
