"This makes me want to help myself even more"

About: Inclusion Visions Thurrock (Drug & Alcohol Recovery Service)

(as a service user),

My keyworker Rachel is lovely, she really supports me well. If I had a relapse she looks on it as a relapse and not a failure. This makes me feel "guilty" and want to help myself even more.

The only problem I have is the waiting time to get a prescription. It takes weeks to get one and people like myself don't want to wait so don't bother. I got on a script in prison and now on it I'm sticking to it 🙂

Dear izarwm35

It's good to hear you feel well supported by your keyworker and that that in turn motivates you to want to help yourself even more. I will pass on your comments to Rachael.

I want to apologise for the length of time it took for you to be put on a prescription. As a service we aim to get people on a prescription as soon as possible and do this according to the individuals risk. In your case, it would seem this was delayed for you and I would be happy to meet with you in person to look at your case individually. Please feel free to contact me and thank you for your feedback.

Take care

Emer
