"Rotator Cuff Repair Surgery"

About: Circle Bath

I was referred to The Circle Bath for rotator cuff repair surgery as an NHS patient having exhausted all other options to help improve my condition. From my initial appointment to the date of the operation.there was very little waiting, and apart from some confusion over the actual operation date, ( somehow I was down for 2 possible dates!) the whole procedure was swift and efficient. I felt I was listened to and given personal attention throughout. From the nurse in the MRI department,to the pre-op nurse, to the anaesthetist and the consultant, and finally the discharge nurse I was well cared for.

The consultant explained clearly what was involved in the operation and outlined possible risks. I went into the op feeling I was in safe hands and therefore relaxed.

The Circle Bath is a very well appointed hospital, spacious, clean, and with friendly staff.

The only slight problem I had was that I was still a bit woozy after the anaesthetic and found it a difficult to focus on what the physio was telling me just before discharge, but they did provide a useful booklet containing the exercises which I took home, and was told if I had any worries to contact the hospital.

Thank you to all at the hospital
