"Colemans ward only"

About: The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (Stanmore) / Trauma and orthopaedics

I was extremely happy and very grateful with the doctor and his registrar and trainee doctors. I was very happy with the senior nurse's in charge especially two very kind and caring. My complaint is about some nurses dressed on the Coleman's ward! What an evil approach I had in care on my two day stay. They forced me to use the commode and refused to give me a bed pan. I was told by my doctors that I was only allowed to dangle my foot down for 5/10 mins Max after my operation for the first two weeks of every hour of the day, I had to get my cast changed on day two due to the swelling I had from going to the commode without support from the evil nurses. It's such a shame that the hospitals reputation is ruined in my eyes due to the horrible nurses on that ward. I forcefully had to hop to the commode on day two and split the cardboard pan by accident and the nurse was really having a go at me shouting Jesus in front of everyone. I had to get out of bed to get my sheets changed other wise my blood stained sheets were not going to be changed. I've caused my foot severe pain due to moving around too much after a very serious foot reconstruction operation. I was forced to leave the hospital on day two even though I clearly wasn't well enough to do physio and hop on one leg on crutches, I was being being rushed into saying that I'm safe enough to go home which was not the case. These nurses should resign from this hospital as they're not giving stanmore a good reputation. It's such a shame.
