My husband became acutely unwell. I phoned 999. From the call handler, first response paramedic, ambulance men, doctors and nurses at LGI and Calderdale; the service was seamless, professional, and very timely. A heart attack was suspected from the initial examination and my husband was taken be emergency ambulance for treatment. He is now home and on the road to recovery. I can't thank them all enough and it has really demonstrated how precious our NHS is.
