I attended for knee arthroscopy. Staff especially the anaesthetist reduced my anxiety (my hand was held whilst going through the procedure with me) as I had never had a general anaesthetic before. Waiting for day surgery to open was cold but in the department the temperature was fine. Just one mention of slight discomfort in recovery and I received some Morphine very quickly. The whole process was smooth and the tea and toast afterwards was very welcome. I would like to thank the anaesthetist and theatre team, the expertise of the orthopaedic consultant/team, the nurses and physio. I am slowly getting on my feet again!Give an account of the experience you are commenting on, and give your opinion about it in your own words.
