Hi here is a copy of the email that I sent to the hospital co-ordinate of Wishaw General. I would like the world to see my recognition of the wonderful staff in Ward 13. (Also the Day Surgery and Theatre Staff)
I was recently a patient in Ward 13.
Firstly, I would like for u to tell them that they r an absolute credit to Wishaw General and the NHS. The level of care that I received from the Day Surgery unit, through to the theatre staff then into the Ward, was outstanding.
I must give my utmost respect and awe to the nurses involved in my aftercare. Every member of staff's level of care was 150%. Me being me, a VERY nervous patient, was made to feel like a queen. Nothing is too much for these ladies. I laughed and cried on their Ward and each time they wiped my tears and talked me down, I felt their dedication to my care. To say they r a credit to the hospital and NHS really, truly is an understatement. I could buy them a thank u card and a box of chocolates but really the recognition they deserve is far beyond a one on one thank u. They deserve praise from the very highest level.
I hope they get to read this email. And if they r reading this then I want to say Thank You. Thank You, Thank You. U r ALL going to heaven as u r all absolute angels. I'm rubbish with names but I'm sure u all remember me as I was such a baby lol. Linda (Boss Lady) u run a perfect Ward. It's not just us patients who love u but ur staff ALL speak highly of u. In a Ward full of women, that is some feat. Ur heart is what keeps the NHS beating strong. Lorraine, a student, u also stand out. U r going to make a great nurse. Ur lovely. Ur caring. All the other ladies, I never had a notebook to write down ur names but I have ur faces etched on my brain. So happy for me when I peed on my own. U all waved me off when I left. I cried. U all deserve a medal for putting up with me. I overcame so much just by staying in ur ward. Love u all. Keep up the loving care. Angels ๐๐๐๐
Ps Doctor Hassan who carried out my surgery also deserves recognition and I will tell him face to face in 3 months time when I really will be a new woman, as promised ๐๐๐
Love ๐
