(as the patient),

3 weeks ago I asked my GP at the South Beach surgery about getting a gastric band fitted as my weight was causing other health problems. I had asked on two previous occasions but had not been referred to it was a surprise when I received a letter this morning for an appointment with a psychologist at the Irvine Central Hospital for consideration of a gastric band.
