I'm not sure if it's just a select member of staff but I felt that care was not at the priority of myself or other patients on the same ward. Nurses were reluctant to give medication at the right times. When needing a specific meal due to dietary requirements I was not given a choice of something adequate for my needs. When I asked the nurse, sometimes alternate nurses due to lack of action, I was often given the reply your medication will be just a moment. I am not one to nag and complain I am also very patient but I genuinely feel that the nurses didn't want to be there. If the nurses didn't want to care they should not be in that line of work.
I am sorely disappointed by my stay there. While I am thankful that something was done eventually and could have been far worse. There is a great level of improvement required.
