"My father's treatment"

About: Pilgrim Hospital

My father was brought to hospital at approx 11am 01.11.18 to a & e after feeling unwell and having a blackout. He spent most of the time in a corridor.

He is suffering with terminal cancer and is 72. after a ct scan found he has 2 lumps on his brain.

He spent the night on a a&e bed. Didn't sleep well. Then while he was eating his breakfast the following day 02.11.18 they moved him to assessment centre at 8am and has spent since 8am in a chair waiting for a bed.

It's now 19.24 and my poor dad is tired and fed up and confused to why he is still sat there

Not the ward staff faults. They have been lovely. Just the lack of speed in getting him to a bed so he can recover and hopefully get home.
