"This appointment at ENT was a waste of time."

I had to make this appointment 6 months ago on the usuall on line booking system, I have a fairly long history of hearing problems going back many years, I’ve had minor surgery to help me which it did for a few years, now my hearing has failed again hence my request for a referral, my appointment was with a consultant who knew nothing about my situation and had no notes to refer to, he relied on the answers I gave to questions he asked, I had a hearing test prior to my visit, again no record of this, I was then told we would have to start again from scratch and make bookings for 6 weeks time after further hearing tests, I am really disappointed as I have to suffer a further 6 weeks of deafness. Getting to Canterbury for an appointment takes time and money which I was happy to do . But to find it was a waste of time isn’t good. I’ve had very good dealings with the Kent and Canterbury in the past. Sadly, they failed this time.
