About: Royal Bournemouth General Hospital

being my first time and having anxiety issues I was very nervous on having this done I would like to thank the whole team for making me feel calm and safe and taking time with me I would love to name them but can’t but I will recommend them, also I would like to thank them for excepting my conditions and giving me a sedative I didn’t even know I had it done and the after team are great to a massive thank you to all those involved

Thank you for your comments about our Endoscopy Unit and highlighting how kind and re-assuring the staff are.

It is always good for other patients to hear that our staff go to great lengths to comfort and calm anxious patients.

Patients often comment about how worked up they were prior to having the procedure and then wonder why afterwards as they barely remember anything beyond the sedative and I am pleased to hear this was your experience also.
