"Receptionists are rude and unhelpful"

I am extremely lucky in the fact that i dont need to see a doctor very regularly and on the few incidents I’ve had to they have seen to me without any issues. However on the occasions ive had to make appointments for my children via the receptionists i am met with nothing but rudeness and tuttering. I am an NHS worker myself so wholy understand the strain put upon us all however the way they book/re-book/cancel appointments without informing you has become a real issue, when discussed with them i have been met with;on more than one occasion, “its not my fault” “you’ve turned up on the wrong day” although an appointment card states correct time and dates. They have been very dismissive, unprofessional and unfortunately in my experience very rude. For a family practice it is not very friendly. This has been an issue with more than one of the receptionists recently and unfortunately has forced me to rate the surgery as low and leave a poor review.
