I didn't fill in survey given at hospital so thought I'd come here. Really impressed with the cleanliness of the hospital and friendliness of staff. Was seen very promptly and was in and out within a couple hours. The only thing I can complain about is the money that been spent on refurb. It's nice don't get me wrong but they are.alwqys banging on about how hard up the NHS is. I'm really not bothered about how nice a hospital looks aslong as it's clean and they get the job done. I'd rather the money go.elsewhere to staff ect. Hospitals are hospitals they don't need to look nice.

Thank you for your feedback, we are delighted that you received such good care at the hospital.

With regards to the refurbishment in A&E, last year the Government allocated funding to 70 emergency departments in England to ease pressure for winter and in order to facilitate the GP streaming service - West Suffolk Foundation Trust was fortunate enough to be included.

The purpose of the refurbishment is therefore to provide much needed support to the service and ensure patients are treated in the most appropriate setting.
