Spent about 3 weeks in & out of hospital. Initially for a termination of pregnancy as I was previously told it was too dangerous for me to have more. Then during scan the pregnancy was found to be outside the womb. Further treatment of methotrexate didn’t work then finally surgery was the only option to remove the tube.
This was quite an emotional time for me & all the staff have been great. Although there were often long waiting times due to my issue never becoming an emergency situation the nurses always kept popping in to check on me. The consultant (Mr Mohanty) who performed the surgery was great & came to see me before & after to explain which really helped to calm my nerves.
It really was a scary time for me but everyone at the hospital really helped me to feel more at ease & I can’t thank them enough especially all in ward 1B & Simone who really did exceed all expectations to ensure my best treatment.
