I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis seven years ago and I had been unwell for four years before diagnosis. The GP's listened to me and gave me never ending support during the most frightening and uncertain time of my life. Since my diagnosis I have seen the nurses and GP's regularly and I can honestly say knowing them all and being cared for so brilliantly by everyone has improved the quality of my life. This month alone I have had three telephone calls with three different GP's and an appointment with the Nurse Practitioner. Each time the GP has rung me before lunchtime and my prescriptions were delivered by 2pm. The GP's are always knowledgeable, approachable, friendly and willing to listen to my point of view. They treat me with respect and always include me in any decisions regarding my treatment and care.I rang the surgery at 8am one morning and I was offered an appointment to see the Nurse Practitioner at 9.30am the same day. She was wonderful,so helpful, kind, knowledgeable and supportive when I was having a tough day.She even rang the District Nurses to ask their advice on my behalf and rang me later in the day to let me know what they had said. The receptionists are fantastic,so friendly, professional and accommodating. They go above and beyond to make sure I get the care I need as soon as possible. I can't thank them enough. I am a stubborn determined person and the amazing care and understanding ALL of the staff at the practice gives me enables me to mange my MS in the way I choose and live as independently as I can.Once again thank you. I consider myself incredibly lucky to be registered with the practice.
"Amazing care, a truly fantastic team."
