"Excellent all round care"

About: Kettering General Hospital / Ophthalmology

I am a type 1 diabetic of 33 years & I have been under the care of Opthamolagy since 2010. During that time, under the care of head of department I have been; constantly reassured, had my condition explained to me - even having sketches drawn to help me understand, shown huge amounts of compassion from all team members, being made to feel like my opinions matter & feeling like it's one big family. All staff do a tremendous job in pressing times & are a huge credit to the hospital. They have made some very worrying times a lot more bearable. I credit the whole team with my ability to maintain a full time job & driving licence.

Quite simply, without their care, knowledge & compassion I don't even want to contemplate what the quality or lack of, my eyesight would be..
