"It has been very rewarding and enlightening"

About: Community mental health services / Recovery College

(as the patient),

Living beyond depression, with Stella and Kelvin.

This was my first time using the Recovery College  and I was feeling a bit nervous,.

After all the formalities and house rules. We got into the course, it has been very rewarding, and enlightening.

I have also made some new friends that make me feel safe, and the tutors were both very friendly and easy to get along with.

The course is easily manageable and the handouts are good,

Maybe it would be a idea in the future to meet as a group for a coffee and chat,  a couple of weeks later, not compulsory and tutors are allowed, to see if people have carried on their learning and are managing, without the daily stresses of life.
