"Horrid and lengthy!"

About: Hinchingbrooke Hospital

What I liked

The environment was clean.

What could be improved

Nurses and Doctors needed to ensure they communicated effectively as I was told different things by different peopel. I was given advise that was false which meant I travelled to the hospital again and waited for ages without need! My assessment point interview was not as confidential as i would have like, as it was held in the waiting room. I was asked by a receptionist to stop moaning, when I clearly was in pain! Overall the whole experience could have been improved!

Anything else?

This was in the emergency department, of which both times i went i had to wait 2 hours despite being asked to return falsely by the nurse.

We are very disappointed to hear of your experience, we have passed your comments onto the General Manager and lead nurse for our Emergency Care Centre.

I would encourage you to contact our Patient Advice Liaison Services Manager on telephone 01480 428964 or by email to pals@hinchingbrooke.nhs.uk so that we can speak to you directly about your experience to understand the specifics.
