"Amazing Advice From Dietitian"

About: The Royal London Hospital

My cholesterol figure was high at 7.4. I didn't want to take statins.

An excellent dietitian advised me to eat porridge with an added tablespoon of flaxseed, and to use Benecol as a spread on bread instead of my usual one. I did this, and I still ate things such as cheese, chocolate and cake.

I am thrilled to report that the figure after 9 months has gone down to 5.4! I plan to continue and see it go below 5 which is the ideal.

I think it is vital that his advice be shared with the medical profession in general so that people can avoid statins.
