What I liked

My elderly and confused father was treated with care and respect at all times.

The staff acted consistently in his best interest.

The kindness and efficiency of the sisters and staff on A and E ward and on C1 discharge ward was consistent and reassuring even though my father's needs were not suited to their usual provision.

I am aware of the pressure and stress that is a constant feature of hospital life. The staff at Royal Oldham did not convey any of this to myself or to my father.
