"day case on ward l26 for a AV fistula ligation."

About: Leeds General Infirmary / Vascular surgery

Staff were friendly from arrival to discharge. Was kept informed of my surgery and as I had a local anaesthetic the surgeon was telling me what he was doing. The nurse who looked after me in recovery also was kind by getting me drinks of water. When back at the ward. The sister was attentive and brought me food and drinks. Wondeful experience through the entire day felt relaxed as I was worried about the surgery before hand. All staff on l26 keep up the good work, your amazing.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write to us with your kind comments.

I am delighted to read that the care you received throughout your stay with us was both attentive and informative and that the service you received from the staff made you feel relaxed at such a worrying time.

I have taken the liberty of sharing your words of support and encouragement with the matron for Ward 26 and asked that your lovely comments are shared with all the team. I know that all the staff will be very happy to know they delivered the care that met all your expectations.

Once Again, thank you so much for taking the time to write to us.

With kindest regards
