"Occuptational Therapy Services"

About: Bromley Healthcare

(as a carer),

Jenny, Occutational Therapist came to assess my husband's needs.  He has had dementia for 9 years and is becoming less mobile and steady on his feet.

Jenny recommended a hand rail in the shower, an extra one on the stairs and one in the downstairs toilet, so that my husband could get up and down more easily.

Dear 'Snooky'

Thank you so much for taking the time to feedback. We will of course ensure that Jenny sees your comments. It is so gratifying to read that Jenny was able to ensure that your husband is able to mobilise and thus retain some independence as a result of the rails.

I am absolutely sure that you are aware of the Bromley Dementia Support Hub a one stop access to support for people with dementia and their carers in the London Borough of Bromley - just in case they can be contacted on 0203 3280366

Wishing you and your husband all good wishes

Julie
