"Following my review in February 2017 Let down"

About: The Royal Victoria Infirmary / Cardiology

My mam died 19th October 2017 in RVI . I had a meeting with my mams consultant a few months back and he explained in his words how my mam died basically she was an emergency not urgent she was in the RVI 1week WAITING for a BED at freeman??? He couldn't see any changes in my mams notes over the week to be concerned about. In the time from my mam WALKING-into that hospital . She couldn't lay flat in bed she had swollen ankles and feet she couldn't walk stand and had to use the commode on her last day and night !, That to me was a difference in my mam. I spoke to a member of staff from cardio services like the review told me to and mentioned my concern and about my mams rings that had gone missing . The member of staff phoned me back later to say sorry nothing has come of mams rings and that was it ! Thanks
