What I liked
I gave birth in the maternity unit in July 2011. The birth was fantastic - my midwife was wonderful, and made the experience comfortable and enjoyable. My baby had jaundice so we had to stay for four days. I had my own room (which you can request if they are available) which was kept very clean. The staff were all very nice, although one nursing assistant was somewhat unfriendly and harsh, but she was the exception. The food was fine - perfectly adequate. The doctors were kind and thorough.
I would recommend the unit and would go back again.
What could be improved
One of the assistants was harsh, so perhaps some social skills could be improved on. However, all of the others were excellent.
"Very happy with my experience"
