I visited the walk in centre last weekend with a sensitive problem, was very nervous about seeing someone and built up the courage to do it to find out what was wrong. After a 2 hour wait (which I didnt mind), I was seen by a nurse. They completed an examination and gave me the advice that it was nothing and that I should continue as normal.
I was in agony Monday/Tuesday to which i went to see my GP she advised me that in fact, it wasn't 'nothing' and that I actually had something very serious. She also noticed straight away and diagnosed me without even inspecting! I'm now on two different tablets daily.
I feel disgusted, you are supposed to be in safe hands here but if i left it and trusted the advice i was given at ilkeston hospital I would probably be hospitilized now.
The staff there are lovely and I've never had a problem, but this whole thing has upset me so much I dont think I could trust their advice again therefore wont be going there anymore.
"Appauled - thank god I didnt trust what they..."
