Following a CT scan which diagnosed a slow bleed after a head trauma I was transported by ambulance from Furness Hospital to Preston on the evening of the 10th Oct0ber. I was admitted to Ward 2b and operated on the following day and am delighted and relieved to be able to report that the “defects” that had materialized (slow speech and leg dragging) have now recovered. I was discharged on the 15th.
I wanted to let staff and the general public know that the professionalism and dedication of every single member of your staff was superb throughout my stay, from the surgeons right through to the cleaners and caterers. Nothing was too much trouble and whilst obviously busy, they found time to reassure when necessary. The attitude of all the staff on the ward was absolutely fantastic.
"Wonderful care from fantastic staff"
