"Cousin's care"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Adult Critical Care Unit (ACCU) University Hospital Wishaw / General Surgery (Wards 16-18)

(as a relative),

My Cousin was in ACCU in University Hospital Wishaw following major surgery. His care was absolutely outstanding and he made a quicker than expected recovery. I myself work at UHW but was still amazed at the high level of person centred care he received. He was then transferred to Ward 17 where he continued to receive a high level of person centred care and was discharged home safely and far quicker than we had all expected pre-surgery. I’d like to extend my thanks to Audrey, Amanda, Mr Younes and their teams for helping him through a life changing event in his life

Dear CousinCraig,

Many thanks for taking the time to post your lovely comments in relation to your cousin's care within ACCU and critical care. I am delighted to hear that you felt the care was outstanding and that you acknowledge the high level of person centred care delivered to him in both ACCU and ward 17. I will share your lovely words with Mr Ben Younes, Audrey and Amanda as they will be delighted to receive such fabulous feedback. I hope your cousin is recovering well at home,

Best Wishes

Maureen
