I was as nervous as anything, As I had to have a camera down my throat, I had been booked in at the Vanguard unit on a Tuesday, but me not reading my letter correctly I had eaten at 7.00am, which meant my procedure could not go ahead as it has to be 6 hours without food, ( Francis who was doing the paper work was absolutely fantastic putting me at ease,) however it had to be rebooked at unit on the following Sunday at the main ward( unit one) again everyone there put me at ease. I had intended on sedation, but I was talked out of it as it is a 3 minute procedure. I had the spray at the back of the throat, I had been told step by step of what I was to expect, and because of the expertise of all concerned every step was true to their word, I never panicked and it went well.
So from the bottom of my heart I would like to thank all concerned, and in the nicest possible way I hope we do not have to meet up again.
THANK YOU.
"Praise for a fantastic team."
