When I first arrive for an assessment, I was incredibly nervous and thought that I would not be legible to be seen. Thankfully, I was, as at that particular time in late April 2018 I was pretty desperate and needed external help outside of friends, family and myself. I was very, very depressed with suicidal thoughts and unable to function most days. Anxiety and panic were a daily part of my life.
Meeting week on week proved to be very helpful to enable me to unpack some deep hurts, pains and unhelpful beliefs that I had about myself. It was also helpful to understand the root of where some of these beliefs were coming from.
Talking these issues through with someone without being judged felt like a big weight was being lifted from me. I looked forward to the sessions as it was a safe place for me to share openly and honestly.
As the weeks went on - with the help of Sarah, I was able to see things for what they really were and not what I had believed wrongly about those around me and myself. I started to have more energy and have a positive outlook on my personal life, work and most of all, myself.
When our sessions came to an end, it most definitely felt right to do so.
THANK YOU SO MUCH......... especially to you Sarah - I am in a much better place than where I was earlier in the year.
