About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Paediatric surgery ( Wards 3A & 3B)

(as a parent/guardian),

I want to say a massive thank you to all of the staff in ward 3b who looked after my daughter for 6 days when she was admitted for surgery. Every member of staff was so kind and patient, willing to have a chat with her and listen to her. They made what was a tough time for us so much easier especially with her just being 4 years old.

I am sorry to hear that your young daughter had to undergo surgery and stay in hospital for a number of days thereafter. This must have been an incredibly worrying time for you and your family.

It is lovely to hear that you felt your daughter was well cared for and that the staff were kind and attentive. It is very rewarding for staff to receive feedback and I will ensure that this is shared with the ward 3b team. I know they will be delighted to receive your kind comments.

I hope your daughter is doing well at home and is recovering well after her surgery.
