I visited the minor injuries unit to have a few injuries assessed following a mental health crisis a few days earlier. I was extremely anxious to attend but all the staff were very friendly and really lovely. Whilst waiting in the queue listening to other patients being checked in, I became increasingly anxious that the receptionist would ask about how my injuries had occurred as the other patients would be able to hear but she didn’t enquire for further details, she was really friendly and her awareness eased my anxiety. The nurse and radiographer also did everything they could to put me at ease. I was in and out within an hour without any added pressure to having discuss what had happened. I’d highly recommend this service to anyone. Really impressed.
"Excellent service from the Minor Injuries Team"
