I had cause recently to complain to my chosen pharmacy, about the delay between my prescription being accepted at the surgery, and the time that it was available for collection. I now find that there is an unacceptable delay between the time I request it, to the time it is being accepted. I made a request on 14th October, and it's still not been accepted. I would be grateful if someone could tell me why this is.
The time between request and availability used to be 48 hours, and now that has been changed to 72 hours, but it is now 5 working days since I made the request, and as it is Saturday today it's going to be at least six, and then I have to wait for the pharmacy to prepare.
Poor show again.
