"Broken foot turned away at 8:15 by receptionist."

About: Victoria Central Hospital

Thought I’d broken my ankle, so went up to hospital with my girlfriend. We knew the walk in closed at 9 so we rushed to get there.

Hopped to reception, where the receptionist in a snotty voice said “ohhh it’s not an injury is it”. I was then informed they close at 9 and they don’t wanna see any more people because they’ve had a busy day (exact words she used )

My girlfriend who’s a student nurse said you don’t close until 9 how can you turn people away at 8:15 to which she just shrugged.

So we went to arrow park (can’t praise them enough) ended up sat round a hospital until 1 am to be told I’d broken two bones in my foot. Something that a dead mill lane could of done in an hour.

Hospitals like This are the reason why the NHS is failing and receptionist who think they’re nurses giving the nurses a bad name.
