"Colposcopy Unit - WONDERFUL Experience :)..."

Thank you so, so much for looking after me when I had an appointment for a hysteroscopy.

From the time a very pleasant lady called to offer me an appointment and right through to after my procedure when I was sitting in the cosy waiting area with a lovely cup of tea, served in a bone china cup!

When I arrived at the main reception at the hospital, a pleasant man at the desk directed me to where I should go.

At the Colposcopy Unit I was greeted warmly by a friendly young woman at the reception area. It was obvious that care had been taken to put patients at ease with soft background provided by a radio, a large selection of magazines and some books to put a smile on your face.

The friendly consultant made me feel at ease as soon as she came out to the waiting area to invite me in the to examination room.

It was also possible for my husband to accompany me for all or part of the time with her.

I was treated with dignity and kindness by the whole team whilst the procedure was taking place.

10 out of 10 is not a high enough score for the way I was cared for.
