I was airlifted in to the hospital last Sunday after having a heart attack on the summit of Carrock Fell. The care that I received was brilliant, couldn't be faulted. I was looked after so well and given all the information and help that I needed. I am now home with a pile of pills and hopeful of a full recovery.
Thank you so much to everyone involved in the Cardiac Care Unit and the doctor and his wife who were on the Fell when I became ill and helped me and coordinated the rescue. It was so nice that that doctor actually came the the CCU ward the next day to see how I was doing and I have spoken to his wife, who also works at the hospital, by email as well.
Wonderful hospital.
