I was taken to the Urgent Care Centre by a friend after injuring my left ankle. The staff were very welcoming from the doorman at reception up. I was seen to very quickly upon arrival at 8am. The staff who treated me were excellent in explaining the full diagnosis which after x-rays turned out to be a fracture to my left ankle. I didn't catch the name of the woman who treated me (in room 8) but her advice and help, down to showing me how to use a pair of crutches was both professional and very comforting. The x-ray specialist I understand has worked in the NHS for 33 years. Again, he had a very calm and friendly manner. I was in quite a bit of pain and discomfort by then, but all those on duty at the centre this Friday morning made my unwanted visit bearable. Thank you.
