"My daughter was admitted to day case unit"

My daughter was referred too the day case unit at royal children’s hosptial for removal of some of her teeth.As she was previously anxious at our own dentist we didn’t tell her before we went too the wards.The play service lady Wendy was fab at explaining too my daughter exactly what was going too happen and used props too make her feel at ease.we had abit of a distressing time when we got in the the treatment room where she was getting put too sleep but the staff were amazing and I personally would like too thank Jenny who went above and beyond and had such a caring nature towards my daughter which made a distressing time abit more easier 

As a auxiliary in a hospital myself it’s easy too show care and compassion to patients but when it is a member of your family and the roles are reversed and your on the other side it is lovely too see what the nhs is good at and the lovely caring staff that works in our children’s hospital
