"Appalling level of care!"

I waited over a month for an appointment as needed late afternoon, that's fair enough. Arrived at the surgery, called in and asked to take a seat. I saw a particular doctor.

I explained my symptoms, pretty straight forward, told him I'd recently fainted and how unwell I've been. He then asked me what I'd like him to do!.. Seriously??? Are you not the expert???

He didnt take my blood pressure, he didn't examine me, in fact all he asked is was I depressed? Now after telling him I'd passed out the blood pressure examination was a must.

He was a complete waste of time, and i'd waited a month for this.

I had to tell him I needed blood tests to find out what is wrong.

I don't expect much other than to see someone who knows what they are doing. I've tried several times unsuccessfully to change my GP. Fighting a losing battle attending this surgery. The second worst surgery in a recent poll.

And well deserved, surprised it wasn't first. God help us all.
