"Ensured I was comfortable throughout"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Day Surgery

(as a service user),

I had to get a small lump removed from the top of my head. On arrival at the hospital S/N David came to call me and introduced himself, explained who he was and asked after myself and how I was feeling. On arriving at the room where the procedure was to be carried out he introduced me to A/N Mary who was in the room to help during the procedure,   David explained everything about the procedure in language that I understood and ensured that he put me at ease. He carried out the procedure quickly and efficiently ensuring that I was comfortable throughout. Mary explained where I would go to get my stiches out,   gave me my discharge letter and explained what to do if I was worried about anything. I found that both of them made my experience at the Day Surgery Unit positive.
