"Good advice and support"

About: Specialist community health services / Continence service

(as a relative),

We had an appointment with Jill at the incontinence clinic which was very helpful. We had been asked to fill in a chart of all the drinks my husband had throughout the day and to take this with us for the appointment, which we did. Jill went though the chart with us and showed us all the things we were doing right and what we were doing wrong advising us how to regulate drinking so that its not such a problem going to the toilet in the night. Jill's advice and support was much appreciated, she also said she would contact our GP to review a tablet my husband is taking as this may also be contributing to the problem. It was very good to have someone take such a detailed look.

Hello,

Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us about the appointment you attended with your husband. I have chatted this through with Catherine, our Continence Service Manager and we were both delighted to hear that it was a positive experience for you and your husband and it was especially lovely to hear that you found the assessment beneficial and you feel that you were given personalised advice and support for your husband’s needs.

We will make sure that Jill is made aware of your feedback - we know that she will be thrilled to hear that she was able to make a difference to you both.

Many thanks again,

Emma
