"In Safe Hands"

Having two serious conditions, it's important to me to have a fair amount of monitoring and through the year, medication reviews, treatments, and a GP service that works in tandem with my ongoing hospital treatment. With Abercromby Health Centre I get that and more.

I'm happy to use this opportunity to recognise and thank the staff at the practice for all the hard work they put in on behalf of the patients on their lists. From the Reception staff who are always upbeat and seeking to help as much as they can, to the GPs themselves who go to great lengths to alleviate problems.

I'd particularly like to thank one staff member who I saw yesterday for COPD follow up and other tests. I certainly found this staff member extremely easy to communicate my concerns with, and felt I was being listened to with empathy, offering practical easy to follow advice in return. Given the pressures on
