"A&E Experience"

About: Hinchingbrooke Hospital / Accident and emergency

I was encouraged by my friend to go to A&E on Tuesday 16th October around 5pm. I had cut my finger on the Saturday, but dressed it myself and didn't think I needed treatment. By Tuesday it looked infected. The staff were wonderful, I am going through a really tough time at the moment and no one judged me for not coming in sooner. I was treated with respect and felt relaxed at a very difficult time. Everything was explained to me and i was asked if i had any questions and was informed of what I need to do regarding re-dressing of my wound and what to do if I get other symptoms. The staff should be praised for the service they provide. Many thanks.
