About: Pinderfields General Hospital

This hospital trust fails to comply with the fast track cancer pathway. GPs make referrals which are not treated as urgent by hospital staff. So called senior hospital staff go out of their way to ensure that a patient cannot speak directly with them. The CEO refuses to speak with patients at any stage of a complaint either before, during or after the complaint has been allegedly completed. Unless its in writing do not believe a word anyone says to you.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments regarding your recent experience.

It is clear from you posting that you have been left feeling very frustrated by your experience of which I am sorry to read.

I would like to provide you with some reassurance that our Chief Executive does read the complaints that are received as he has to have the final sign off following the completion of a complaint.

I am sorry if you believe this to be incorrect.

Staff work really hard in trying to speak to all of the patients that make contact with them and again, I am sorry if staff were not available at the time you tried to make contact with them but if messages are left then they do endeavor to call them back.
