"Visit to emergency care with my 4yr old daughter"

About: Manor Hospital / Accident and emergency

Visited a&e at 18.48pm with my 4yr old daughter that had fell and cut her eye open under eyebrow, you could clearly see that it had split under her eyebrow and was bleeding into her eye, was then sent to the emergency care unit unsure what it's called but we sat there for over 2hrs without been seen in the end I walked out have put butterfly stitches on my daughter eye until the morning and I will be going to the drop in centre, there was still a small little boy who looked like he was very poorly and was still waiting to be seen when we decided to walk out out of the hospital. There was one man and unsure of the relative he was in a wheelchair came in and was seen within 5minutes of waiting which I feel is unfair as we have sat in the waiting room for 2 hrs with my daughter's eye bleesing, there was people that had just been sick being seen before I'll children, it said on the letter we was given u will be seen in polarity basics how can someone that is perfectly fine in here self just been sick this afternoon be seen before I'll children the syste u used is not correct to the letter on arrival and needs changes. When we then left the hospital there was a 2 and half hour wait and that poor lad was still.waiting to be seen which was there before us and the hospital still let people that was that I'll go before him. Something need to change with the system you use I will now look at using new cross hospital in the future as the manor hospital as gone down hill.
