What I liked
All I can say just had a short stay here had a traumatic experience with some of the nurses the procedures when leaving the hospital need changing and no after advice given for afer care I could go into detail but do not want to frighten any future patients.I will be puting a letter of complaint it just so hopefully some one will read it and if it helps someone not to experience what I have just gone through then I have hepled someone.
What could be improved
More training for the nurses on simple procedures 1/How to put on a theatre gown. 2/Not to call a patient fat? 3/H ave some emphany for your patients/ 4/Some nurses have certainly an attitude problem, But I will say on thw whole the nurses were briliant especially the theatre staff and the staff on the surgical assessment ward. Some of the nurses on ward c18 need more training I do really appreciate how hard they work and are under pressure but bad manners are not acceptable in my eyes and a couple of nurses on this ward spoil it for the rest im sorry to say my experience on this ward will be with me for along time.
"Upsetting and stressful and lack of aftercare..."
